Casio Fx-9860G Slim Graphing Calculator
Casio unveiled a new graphing calculator, the fx-9860G Slim to join the elite family of Casio calculators that have changed the way the world uses math in every day life since 1957. The fx-9860G Slim is the ideal tool for the aspiring mathematician.
A mere 7/8" at its thickest point, the fx-9860G Slim features a compact, slim body with a large, high contrast display and an easy-to-use icon menu. The graphing calculator's natural display input option allows input and viewing of equations exactly as they appear in the textbook. It offers a wide array of features that make it an essential device for the classroom including PC and projector connectivity via USB and large 1.5MB flash memory, which allows for data storage and downloading of many add-in applications.
In conjunction with the introduction of the fx-9860G Slim, Casio is offering a multi-module online training course called "fx-9860G Slim 101 Online Training Course" to help educators maneuver through the calculator's features. For a limited time only, Casio will award a $100 debit card to any participants who complete all of the modules. This promotion will become available in June 2007 and participants are encouraged to check with Casio for complete details.
The fx-9860G Slim is recommended for students in grades eight through college. The graphing calculator will be available in June and retails for $99.99 and will be available to educators for $91.00.
