MINI set to join World Rally Championship from 2011
MINI is making a comeback on the international rally circuit. From 2011, the brand will compete at selected rounds of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and will go on to contest the entire season from 2012 onwards. This involvement is planned for several years. |

BMW Group U.S. Reports June 2010 Sales
June sales of BMW and MINI vehicles in the U.S. increased 11.9 percent to 23,331 units, delivering the best sales month for the company this year. During the first half of the year, the BMW Group reported a total sales volume of 121,585 vehicles, up 6.2 percent from the same period last year. |

BMW Group Reports 10.8% Sales Increase In May
The BMW Group continues its upward trend in sales: The company increased global sales of its three premium automobile brands, BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, by 10.8% (120,843 / prev. yr. 109,049) in May. Deliveries for the year to the end of May climbed 13.3% to 552,864 vehicles (prev. yr. 487,914). |

BMW GROUP POSTS POSITIVE EARNINGS FOR 2009
The BMW Group recorded positive earnings for the financial year 2009 as planned despite the ongoing worldwide financial and economic crisis. Profit before tax rose by 17.7% to euro 413 million (2008: euro 351 million). Net profit amounted to euro 210 million (2008: euro 330 million/-36.4%) due to the higher effective tax rate. |

NEW MINI COUNTRYMAN UK PRICES ANNOUNCED
The MINI Countryman range will be the fourth member of the MINI family following Hatch, Convertible and Clubman. It means that MINI owners who love the brand no longer need move to another make when they need more space in their car. |

MINI COUNTRYMAN PRICES ANNOUNCED
The MINI Countryman is on its way. The Geneva Motor Show (4 –14 March 2010) will be the venue for the world premiere of the fourth model in the brand’s line-up. The market introduction of the MINI Countryman in Germany will follow in September 2010. |
