Grundig

Grunding, announced today that it has launched a new mobile phone, Grundig B700, a Linux powered device.

Mobilewhack reports that this is however a serious piece of kit and despite that fact that is doe not have Blackberry, does mean that is some inferior device that looks good but cannot deliver the services that the user is going to need, after all there is nothing worse than buying a product only to find that it cannot deliver the services that the user is going to need. On the B700 there is now standard QWERTY keyboard and runs a program named SureType, which works exactly the same as Blackberry, so no worries there then. The screen is a 2.4 inch QVGA, but surprisingly the B700 is lees than half an inch thick, which is quite extraordinary when it has the screen and keyboard built in.
