LG Electronics Upgrades Laundry Palette With Vibrant New Colors

White? Color? Colors! Delivering on its promise of bringing stylish design into all of its home appliance products, LG Electronics, the U.S. market share leader in front-load laundry systems, today announced the addition of two new designer finishes -Bahama Blue and Emerald Green - bringing its front-load laundry palette to eight colors. The new models incorporate feature-rich packages at an array of price points to suit a variety of consumer needs. Each new LG model includes a series of individual features and functions, while maintaining the outstanding, sophisticated design that has become the hallmark of LG's home appliances.

LG's sleek designs and innovative colors are helping to elevate the laundry room from the basement to more prominent locations within the home, as more consumers are making a style statement and embracing design with their home appliances. LG was a pioneer in incorporating vivid colors and stylish designer finishes into the laundry room such as Wild Cherry Red, Midnight Blue, Stainless Steel, Titanium and Pearl Gray.

Premium Stainless Steel washers and dryers are now available on LG's award-winning Steam Laundry System at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $2,699 each. Steam technology offers many convenience features for consumers including greater energy and water efficiency compared to traditional models, as well as advanced clothing care options such as wrinkle- reduction, odor removal and certified allergen reduction. Stainless Steel joins the array of designer finishes currently available within LG's Steam Laundry portfolio, including Wild Cherry Red, Midnight Blue and White; the manufacturer's suggested retail price for these models begins at $1,399 for the washer and $1,199 for the dryer.

New finishes such as Bahama Blue and Emerald Green are now available on LG's ultra-large 4.0 cubic-foot capacity laundry pair. The washer includes a 1,100 RPM spin speed, and both the washer and dryer feature highly styled controls with a LED display and ergonomically designed Dial-A-Cycle(TM) control panel with preset cycle selections to provide worry-free settings for optimal fabric care. The Bahama Blue laundry pair is available now at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1,049 for the washer; the matching dryer is available at $949. The new Emerald Green finish will be available beginning at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1,049 for the washer and $949 for the dryer.

These products are now available at select retailers nationwide.
