Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today celebrated shipping its one millionth digital cable set-top box (STB) to Spanish cable provider ONO. To mark the milestone, Motorola designed a silver STB which was presented to ONO's chief executive officer Richard Alden during the Cable Congress 2008 in Madrid, Spain.

ONO and Motorola have worked together since 1994 bringing personal media experiences to a national audience in Spain. The Motorola set-top boxes enable ONO to offer services such as digital cable TV, multi-channel pay TV, impulse pay-per-view and video-on-demand.

The Motorola DVI 3120 STB provided to ONO is a customized and cost-efficient solution that incorporates Motorola MediaCipher for conditional access and supports interactive applications and flexible advanced services such as instant pay-per-view and video-on-demand.
