Runcom Technologies Ltd., the world leader in OFDMA
technology for WiMAX, announced today the completion of their
inter-operability test (IOT) with Nokia Siemens Networks, world's leading
infrastructure and service provider.
The IOT was executed between Nokia Siemens Networks Flexi WiMAX base
stations and Runcom based customer premises equipment (CPE). The CPE are
manufactured by Runcom's OEMs, based on Runcom's OFDMA technology.
"The completion of the inter-operability testing with Runcom is an
important milestone for Nokia Siemens Networks on the way to Mobile WiMAX
commercial deployments during 2008" said Markku Hollstrom, Head of
Broadband Wireless Product Management at Nokia Siemens Networks.
