Siemens executes first migration project to Windows 7.0 for the Münchener Hypothekenbank

The Münchener Hypothekenbank eG was founded in 1896 as the "Bayerische Landwirthschaftsbank" and is the only mortgage bank in the world doing business in the legal form of a registered cooperative. As an independent mortgage bank – no other large bank holds a majority share in MünchnerHyp – the bank’s owners primarily consist of cooperative banks, savings banks and individual members/shareholders, most of whom are customers. The bank maintains 11 regional offices staffed by experts throughout Germany to support its ongoing business relationships with the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken. The private residential lending business of the MünchenerHyp is conducted via the cooperative Financial Services Network (FinanzVerbund) with the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, and the bank’s own regional offices. The national and international commercial property lending business is centrally managed from the bank’s main office in Munich.
