Audi Q7 TDI
Concept
Muscular, but elegant describes the elongated figure of the new
Audi Q7 TDI concept vehicle. Predicting the styling of the coming 2008 Q7, the concept's most striking feature is the enormous, vertical single-frame radiator grille. Flanking the grille are wide headlight units with visible light tubes. The multi-purposed vehicle also sports a flowing roofline with coupe-like profile, and steeply angled D-pillars. The awesome 500 horsepower, 6.0-liter V-12 TDI directs its power to a new 6-speed tiptronic transmission, and from here, the forces flow to a quattro driveline. Incredibly fast for its size, the Q7 TDI sprints from 0-to-60 miles per hour in just 5.5-seconds, and thanks to its diesel engine, achieves around 20 mpg combined city and highway. Leather upholstered interior offers 3-rows of seating to accommodate up to 7-people. Carbon panels give added emphasis to the interior's sporting flair.

Chevrolet Camaro Convertible
Concept
Drop-top gorgeous, the new Chevrolet Camaro 4-passenger convertible concept is finished in Hugger Orange pearl tri-coat paint with twin gunmetal gray sport stripes. The combination is an update of the classic hues originally offered in 1969. Early information states that a torquey V-8 engine sends power to the 22-inch rear wheels via a manual transmission. Other engineering details include a 4-wheel independent suspension system, 4-wheel disc brakes, and 21-inch front wheels. All rims have a deep-dish, 5-spoke design and feature charcoal center sections with bright outer edges and a red outline on the wheel edge. Check back soon for updates and images on the Camaro convertible.

Chevrolet Camaro Hardtop
Concept
To the cheers of pony car enthusiasts,
Chevrolet displayed the Camaro Concept at the 2006
Chicago Auto Show, and it was a huge success. The dream car embodies the styling, performance and passion that made 1st-generation Camaros so popular. Backing up the bowtie prototype is a high-performance 400 horsepower, 6.0-liter LS2 V-8 engine, 6-speed manual gearbox and a sophisticated chassis with 4-wheel independent suspension. Vented disc brakes with 14-inch rotors are visible through the flangeless 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels - 21-inch front, and 22-inch rear. Camaro's 4-passenger black leather cockpit is awash in indirect, orange-glow lighting that radiates from the dash, door panels and center console. Come to the 2007 show and see if the Camaro hardtop concept returns for a 2nd engagement, and appear along with the new experimental Camaro convertible.

Chevrolet Volt
Concept
Created for an urban-centric lifestyle, the
Chevrolet Volt is a 4-5-passenger sedan concept with a unitized frame, electric propulsion and front-wheel drive. About the size of the 2007 Cobalt, the futuristic Volt's styling features short front and rear overhangs with the driver placed far rearward of the large 21-inch front wheels. The roof, side glass and beltline are constructed of GE Plastics transparent, glazed polycarbonate material that delivers the scratch resistance and gloss surface appearance of glass combined with the formability of a plastic composite. Situated on the interior surface of the glass roof, are conductive ink controls that provide touch access to lights, OnStar buttons and more. Inside the cabin, the environment is defined by a host of current or near-term technologies and materials. The dual-mode instrument cluster uses Super Imaging that provides 3D LED displays with 4-color illumination and animation data. Along with the electrically driven system, there is a 3-cylinder, turbocharged engine to extend the range of travel.

Predicting the sweeping curves and design cues that'll be featured on future Chrysler sedans is the brand new
Nassau concept. The 4-passenger luxury model is based on a 2007
Chrysler 300C sedan chassis, with coupe-like styling on the 4-door prototype. In order to attain a more compact appearance, the Nassau has deliberately concise front and rear overhangs, with the body surface wrapped around the large 10-spoke 21-inch wheels. Accenting the Mystic Blue Pearl color of the body, the sill and the lower portions of the front and rear fascias are finished in Starbright Silver. Powered by a specially engineered SRT 6.1-liter Hemi, the Nassau dream machine cranks out 425 horses and rockets the car from 0-to-60 miles per hour in 5-seconds.
