Synopsys, Inc. today announced that it has completed its acquisition of the semiconductor intellectual property (IP) assets of MOSAID Technologies, Inc., a developer and licensor of semiconductor IP.

The integration of MOSAID's double data rate (DDR) memory controller and PHY semiconductor IP products into Synopsys' DesignWare(R) IP portfolio will further expand the breadth of Synopsys' standards-based connectivity IP solutions. The final purchase price for the acquisition was $15.3 million.
