Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) announced today that the company has decided to accept Nokia's cash offer to acquire all of the Symbian Limited shares that Nokia does not already own.

   Ericsson has entered into an agreement to divest its enterprise PBX solutions business to Aastra Technologies (TSX:AAH). The agreement involves transfer of approximately 630 employees of which some 360 are based in Sweden.

   The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), the more than 8,000-company strong trade association responsible for advancing Bluetooth wireless technology, joined Nokia today in announcing that the Wibree forum, the group specifying the Nokia developed ultra low power wireless technology, will be merged with the Bluetooth SIG.
