MTV has announced that Alicia Keys will join JAY-Z onstage to perform "Empire State of Mind" from his latest album The Blueprint 3. Eminem will also be making a special appearance during the "2009 MTV Video Music Awards" on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9PM.

Setting the stage for some of this summer's most talked about performances, MTV announced today that rock icons Kings of Leon will perform at the "2009 MTV Movie Awards." The band will perform their rock anthem "Use Somebody" from their hit album "Only By The Night."

"We Made You" is the first single by American rapper Eminem from his upcoming album Relapse. The single, produced by Dr. Dre and with a chorus sung by singer Charmagne Tripp, was released on April 7, 2009 along with a music video.

The R&B artist has sold over 11 million mastertones, the most of any other artist since the inception of mastertones.

Akon (Aliaune Thiam) scores his second No. 1 Hot 100 hit on the album "Konvicted" as "Don't Matter" jumps 3-1 on the chart, where it is the fastest growing track at radio for a fifth week, according to Billboard.
