NEW GREATEST HITS COMPILATION FROM THE WHO SPANS THE RECORDING CAREER TO DATE OF THE WORLD'S PREMIER ROCK AND ROLL BAND

U2 and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSX:RIM) have great news for digital music fans who miss the visual experience that came with music albums.

"Magnificent" is the second single from U2's 2009 album, No Line on the Horizon. The track was originally titled "French Disco", but was renamed later in the recording sessions.

U2.com today confirms that the U2 360 Tour will open at the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona on 30th June. The U2 360 Tour is sponsored by BlackBerry(R) and is the band's first stadium outing since the Vertigo Tour 05/06 and follows the release of their acclaimed album, No Line On The Horizon.

Get On Your Boots, the first single from U2’s new album No Line On The Horizon, will be released as a digital download on February 15th with a physical format to follow on February 16 through Mercury/Universal.

The album is currently available for pre-order and will be released on March 3rd

Paul David Hewson, aka Bono, U2 front man, is being awarded an honorary knighthood by Her Majesty The Queen, for "his services to the music industry and for his humanitarian work".
